🤩 I mean, if we’re going there, one that I’m desperate to resurrect is the Anglo Saxon pronoun ‘hir’ which I remember being told was ungendered when I did my Medieval Lit & Lang degree. Can’t find any clarity on it online but I’m sure I remember my tutor Vic Watts (Durham) saying this!! Maybe it was Middle English. Can’t find it now, and may end up down a very deep rabbit hole looking for a half remembered Dark Ages word. But, it would solve a bunch of issues I feel 😊
